The Doctors’ and Nurse’s appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. Please cancel any appointments you cannot keep well in advance when possible.
If you fail to keep appointments repeatedly without satisfactory explanation, (3 DNAs: Did Not Attend) you may be removed from our list.

Extra GP appointments in the evenings and at weekends are available to Enfield patients
Urgent and routine appointments with a local GP or nurse, either same day or in advance are available at any one of four GP extended access hubs, making it much easier to get the care you need when you want it at a location that is convenient for you.
Who can access the service?
Patients registered with an Enfield GP practice (or those resident in Enfield but who have yet to register with an Enfield GP practice) can book an appointment at the service.
What are the opening times?
Hub opening hours are 6.30pm – 8pm weekdays and 8am – 8pm weekends and public holidays.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment with a local GP or nurse at any one of the hubs by either:
- Contacting your own GP practice, or
- Calling NHS 111
You will be given a choice of location when you book.
Walk in services are available at Evergreen Primary Care Centre, Eagle House Surgery and Carlton House Surgery from 8am-8pm on weekends and public holidays.

Your local pharmacist can give you friendly expert advice about over-the-counter medicines that can help with lots of common conditions without the need for an appointment. Other services include smoking cessation and the minor ailments scheme.
Walk-in services and urgent care centres
These centres treat most injuries and illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening. You don’t need to book an appointment – just turn up and you will be seen promptly by either a doctor or nurse.
- Chase Farm Urgent Care Centre, Chase Farm Hospital, The Ridgeway, Enfield, EN2 8JL. Open 8am-10pm, every day.
- Edmonton Walk-In Centre, Evergreen Primary Care Centre, 1 Smythe Close, Edmonton N9 0TW. Open weekends and bank holidays only from 8am to 8pm.
- North Middlesex Urgent Care Centre, North Middlesex Hospital, Sterling Way, Edmonton, N18 1QX. Situated in A&E and open 24 hours a day, every day.
